COMPOSITION: Each vial contains 1 g of Ceftriaxone Sodium BP.
PRODUCT PACKAGING:
- PEMATRIAXONE WITH WATER: Each pack contains 1 vial of Cefriaxone Sodium powder, 1 5ml ampoule of 1% Lidocaine Injection BP., and 1 10ml ampoule of sterile water for injection.
- PEMATRIAXONE WITHOUT WATER: Each pack contains 10 vials of Ceftriaxone Sodium powder
INDICATIONS:
PEMATRIAXONE is indicated in preoperative prophylaxis of infections, and also in the treatment of infections caused by pathogens sensitive to Ceftriaxone such as:
- sepsis, meningitis, abdominal infections( peritonitis, infections of the biliary & gastrointestinal tracts)
- infections of the bones, joints, soft tissue, skin & wounds.
- infections in patients with impaired defense mechanisms
- renal & urinary tract infections
- respiratory tract infections, particularly pneumonia, and ear, nose & throat infections
- genital infections including gonorrhoea
