COMPOSITION: Each vial contains 3.0 g (about 3,000,000 I.U) of Procaine Penicillin BP and 600mg (about 1,000,000 I.U) of Benzyl Penicillin Sodium BP

PRODUCT PACKAGING: 10 clear vials of unprepared Fortified procaine penicillin in white, powdered form.

INDICATIONS: 

As its peak blood concentration is relatively low, PEMACAIN is only indicated in mild infections caused by penicillin-sensitive bacteria such as tonsillitis, scarlet fever, crysipelas, furuncles and carbuncles. It is also effective for syphilis, Vincent’s angina and gonorrhea.

• Moderately severe to severe infections of the upper respiratory tract, skin and soft-tissue infections, scarlet fever, and erysipelas due to susceptible streptococci (Group A-without bacteremia).
